COMMANDER'S MESSAGE

Dear Members and Community Friends,
I hope this message finds you well. It is with great honor and gratitude that I continue to serve as your Commander of American Legion Liberty Post 122. I am humbled by the confidence you have placed in me once again, and I look forward to building on the progress we have made together. Please also join me in welcoming our newly re-elected and newly elected officers, each of whom plays a vital role in the success of our Post and our community.
As we begin this new term, I want to reaffirm our commitment to the core values that guide the American Legion: Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation, National Security, Americanism, and Children & Youth. These four pillars remain at the heart of everything we do, and they will continue to shape our mission and efforts in the months ahead.
-
Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation: Our veterans will always be our highest priority. We will continue to advocate for their rights, provide access to resources, and maintain a strong network of support and camaraderie.
-
National Security: The world continues to evolve, but our dedication to safeguarding freedom remains unwavering. Through programs and community engagement, we will emphasize the importance of security and civic responsibility.
-
Americanism: Liberty Post 122 will remain a place where patriotism is celebrated. Together, we will host events and initiatives that honor our heritage, our flag, and the sacrifices of those who served.
-
Children & Youth: Investing in the next generation ensures the strength of our future. We are committed to programs that guide, mentor, and empower young people, helping them grow into responsible and engaged citizens.
I encourage all members and friends of our community to remain active participants in Post life. Your time, ideas, and energy are what keep Liberty Post 122 strong. Together, we can continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our veterans, our families, and our neighbors.
Stay connected for announcements about upcoming events and initiatives, and never hesitate to share your thoughts with us. With your support, we will continue to thrive and serve with purpose.
Thank you for your ongoing dedication to Liberty Post 122 and to the mission of the American Legion.
With deepest appreciation,
Jonas Garland, Commander
American Legion Liberty Post 122
